Installation of 57 solar panels on a commercial building in Newbury to support clients net zero objectives.
Project Details
Initially, we surveyed and produced ROI calculations for our client. These came out at 3.7 years and offered significant opportunity to support their desire to achieve net zero. Supported by a structural engineer, we then completed load calculations on our clients roof to confirm the proposed solar installation was compliant and the roof could safely support the increased load. Scaffolding was designed and co-ordinated in a way that ensured minimal inconvenience to our client and ensured their parking wasn't impacted. Safety netting was installed below the skylights to ensure absolute safety of our electricians.
