Warehouse structured cabling upgrade

Our client required a significant upgrade of their structured network. This was largely due to their decision to move to an automated picking system. The equipment needed a constant and very reliable wi-fi signal to ensure the safe an smooth operation. Other areas of the site required hard wired high speed data. Our scope consisted of installing satellite data cabinets complete with fibre links to the main server room. From these remote cabinets, we wired new Cat 6 points which supported both access points and hard wired equipment. Our team completed the full expansion of the network, working closely with the client at the site remained partially operational so planning and flexibility were needed to ensure zero inconvenience to our client.
